Beat the Blues – Week #40 Round-up
Here is a round-up of some of the most interesting content I came across in Week #40 of the year.
What I am currently listening to:-
Wim “The Ice Man” Hof is a real-life daredevil.
- In 2007, he climbed past the “death zone” altitude on Mount Everest (~7,500 meters) wearing nothing but shorts.
- In 2009, Hof completed a full marathon above the polar circle in Finland, in temperatures close to −20 °C (−4 °F). Dressed in nothing but shorts, Hof finished in 5 hours and 25 minutes.
- Hof holds the current Guinness World Record for the longest ice bath, now set at 1 hour 53 minutes and 12 seconds.
One crazy human.
What I am currently pondering:-
Where did last week go!?
Turns out when IPL + EPL + La Liga is in full swing, you don’t get a whole lot done.
But for a sports fanatic, it was a dream week, with blockbuster entertainment, courtesy: CSK, RCB, RJB, RR, Barcelona, Tottenham, and Aston Villa.
A Treat for Tamil IPL fans
Neengalum enna maari Star Sports Tamil la match pakareengana… here you go:
Compilation of RJ Balaji commentary.
What I’ve been upto:-
A controversial opinion, but one that had to be shared.
If you are in SaaS, a startup enthusiast, or active LinkedIn user, you might want to check this out.
A Tweet thread I am sharing:-
Tre on Twitter: “My generation’s obsession with having established careers before 25 has led to everyone being hyper competitive, opportunistic, self-centered and deeply insecure. I wish everyone would just relax a little bit.”
Have a great week,
