Beat the Blues – Week #32 Round-up

Here is a round-up of some of the most interesting content I came across in Week #32.

What I am currently listening to:-

Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend: Michelle Obama on Apple Podcasts

Being one of the last remaining ‘true entertainers’, we wouldn’t expect anything less than stellar from Conan O’Brien – it is one thing to see him be at his self-deprecating best but to see him host Michelle Obama with such poise is special, bringing out how smart he is.

What I am reading:-

Damn Right!: Behind the Scenes with Berkshire Hathaway Billionaire Charlie Munger

Damn Right is one of the few books available on Charlie Munger and vividly recounts his incredible journey – even though the book came out way back in 2000, it covers about 76 years (He is 96 years old now!) of his life, detailing both his personal and professional life.

My favorite part about this book is how it shows the ‘other side’ of a billionaire we know relatively little about – the tenacity, the hardships, etc.

A quote I am pondering:-

“Don’t be defined by your title. Be a polymath. Allow your curiosity to lead you to whatever you think is interesting. It will all be useful later if you want to create something new and different.” – Garry Tan

Something I worked on recently:-

Podcasting 101: How to start a podcast during quarantine?

A detailed playbook to get your podcast up and running!

Enjoying Beat the Blues? We’d love it if you can spread the word!

Here’s a personalized tweet we created for you to share it with your Twitter community.

Take care,
