Beat the Blues – Week #28 Round-up
Here is a round-up of some of the most interesting content I came across in Week #28 of the year.
What I am reading:-
One of the most recommended books for marketers, Behind the cloud is the riveting story of how Salesforce became the behemoth it is today. It also follows an unconventional structure, with 111 short chapters or ‘plays’ that begins right from when the idea was born.
Much thanks to the growth wiz Mukil Ganesan who made sure I finally picked up this book by sending over his softcopy (It is priced at 1400/- and frankly is out of my usual book budget for the time being)
What I’m listening to:-
Charlie Munger is the long-time business partner of Warren Buffett (Also, criminally underrated for a man of his intellect)
The Psychology of Human Misjudgment, a speech given in 1995 by legendary investor Charlie Munger, is an enlightening, eye-opening piece on how behavioral psychology’s relationship to business and problem-solving.
What I’ve been up to:-
Reluctantly taking a pause from the weekend episode release (Making up for it with the upcoming guests), took the down-time to write a much-needed post on why are my podcast episodes long.
A quote I am pondering:-
“The more you publish, the more ideas you have” – Charlie Bleecker
A Tweet I am sharing:-
In an unimaginably turbulent year, this is one of the best creations (Spoiler: It’s a video meme)
Here’s a 10-second video that connects Chennai SaaS with Vada Chennai.
